Nesting Bowls

Last spring we went to a kitchen store in Freiburg, Germany. I spotted some plastic nesting bowls and thought about splurging on them, but didn't and now wish I did. The ceramic nesting bowls we currently have have either broken or are badly chipped. I had remembered that the ones I saw in Freiburg were not only plastic-like but also had pour spouts which make it more functional and yet still have a nice table-presence.

I have been rummaging through some of my old favorite sites where I like to look for interesting and well-designed stuff. Though I haven't quite spotted the ones I found in Freiburg, these are nice and multi-functional too.

Couch Surfin' Complete!

Back in February we were searching for a new couch (blogpost: Couch Surfin'). And we finally bought our top pick. Whoo Hoo!
It's from Bo Concept, they have a store in Tysons Center II in Virginia (talk about a swanky-danky place), we went in last Saturday to give it a test drive. We instantly fell in love with it and bought it. Unfortunately, we have to wait until mid-August for it to be shipped (from Denmark). It's also a sofa bed, so now we have a place for visitors sleep.
We got ours in the dark brown nu fabric, which gives it a vintage look.

Now, I want is this Eames chair:

Charles and Ray Eames

It's been a while since I've seen some stamps that I like. We are big fans of Eames furniture.
I just purchased some of these from USPS.
