Terrain at Styer's

Terrain at Styer's is in West Chester, PA. It's a wonderful store that Brendan and I like to peruse through and get ideas for our home and garden. I have to fend myself off from spending $10 on a bar of soap... but then I always seem to convince myself that it's worth it. The siding on the building alone had us gawking for a while. They even have a cafe in a garden-like house.

What I admire most about this place is their organization and ideas of placement of products, it could be as simple as types of gravel or seed packets, the way they display them is brilliant. The trickling water, the smell of French soaps, the dripping succulent plants, dreamy miniature terrariums...it is a therapeutic visit. If you are ever in the area, I recommend you go. And if you can't check them out online, though it's just not the same.

Sad but true, but all good things come to an end right? Brendan made a fabulous web site for Carrot Top, it's full of tons of photos and information on the house. You can check it out here. If you're interested, or perhaps you know of a friend that would be... you know where to send them! I couldn't recommend a more wonderful, beautiful little cottage and place to live.

Our little family is going to continue to grow and well, it's time to move on. I can only hope that our beloved Carrot Top could go to someone who would truly appreciate the quaintness of it all.
